Just a quick update from Montauk. We won! Bec took the overall title, beating all of the men by nearly 5 minutes. And I came in third overall by just .7 seconds. This was the first time in the race's 32 year history that two women were on the overall podium.
There were a few bets going on about whether this was possible. Our PT Carolyn won a bottle of fancy tequila over it. For next time, take note betters: you don't bet against Bec when she's determined to do something.
