Our Favorite Post-Workout Smoothie

When it comes to refueling after a workout, we like to make smoothies that are full of nutrients, but also made of simple, easy to find ingredients.

Here’s our favorite post-workout snack:

Athlete Food Green Smoothie

In a blender combine:

1 apple, cut into quarters

1 banana

1/4 cup (or more if you need to help your blender along) of cow, oat, or cashew milk

2 big handfuls of baby spinach

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
