#meatlessmonday Grains & Greens bowl. Kale, roasted sweet potatoes & red onions, rice, lentils, Greek yogurt vinaigrette with tarragon, and our very own, homegrown hot pepper. Cold dinner for a hot night.
How to dessert. Today Amy wanted to bake so we made a strawberry upside down cake and piled on all the fresh berries, whipped cream, and mint. We used a cupcake recipe Amy found @delish, used half of the batter to make cupcakes and the rest for this.

Miami Half Marathon

I'm heading down to Miami this weekend to help pace a friend through the Miami half.  This is my second non-triathlon half marathon and my race kit (Nike Victory Sports Bra in Livestrong yellow with black track shorts) is a huge improvement over the boxy cotton t-shirt and soccer shorts I wore in my first outing, the 1999 Staten Island half marathon.
