Contest: Win a pound of walnuts.

Last week we featured our favorite winter meatless meal, Butternut Squash Ravioli with Walnuts and Kale. But the unseasonably warm weather here in New York has momentarily turned my appetite to spring and summer. Come June, I’ll add pesto and walnuts to my favorite pasta primavera combination, fettuccine with shredded zucchini, peas, and fava beans. 

If you like the sound of that, leave us a comment below. If you have other ideas about a pesto and nut spring or summer pasta, share them with us. One commenter, picked at random, will receive a pound of walnuts from, my go-to mail order source for bulk nuts and dry goods. The last time I ordered, my nuts arrived the next morning. The latter would be no great feat for NYC, but made the overnight delivery to upstate New York!
