An Update from Bec

As of this afternoon, Amy will officially be 2 weeks old! We've settled into a routine of eating, sleeping, and hanging out. Laurel has joined us on most days - she'll come over with snacks, keep us company for a few hours and then hop on my bike trainer for a workout. We're going to miss her when she leaves for training camp in Tucson next week.

As far as my "training" goes, I returned to the gym yesterday for the first time in several weeks for a VERY SLOW 20 minute treadmill walk. Even though I feel like I could do more, I'm holding back until my surgery heals. As I mentioned in last week's Athlete Moms post, I'm not planning on rushing back to things too quickly, but at the same time can't wait to get back to it!
