WINter Storm Workouts

Here in New York, snowstorm Nemo dumped about 12+ inches of powdery snow on us, forcing us to get a little creative with our workouts. Up in New Paltz, I opted for a 1 mile pup walk in the woods through the deep snow. SJ took his super-fat-tired mountain bike out for a spin. Tomorrow we'll get out the cross country skis. 

Back in the city, Laurel went for a dog walk on the snow covered streets of Tribeca and then set up her skinny-tired P3 on the trainer for an indoor bike ride. After doing an interval set of 3 x15 minutes at 70.3 race pace, Laurel transitioned into her running gear for a short, but snowy, run to the gym where she transitioned again to a 30 minute treadmill run. A double transition during a run isn't exactly traditional, but sometimes you just have to do what it takes to get things done!
