Race2Rebuild Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Looking for a race in April? How about joining us for the Race2Rebuild Run, Ride, Rebuild on April 18 in Long Beach, NY. There will be a 5k AND a mini sprint duathlon (1 mile/5miles/1.5miles). After the races, stick around for an Athlete Food-approved breakfast and the opportunity to help rebuild a home that was damaged in Hurricane Sandy. It's gonna be a fun day.

If you visit the Race2Rebuild page, check out the other events throughout the year. As ambassadors, Laurel and I will be participating in a bunch of the races with the team. If you are interested in doing on of the races with us or supporting the rebuilding efforts provided by R2R, send us an email and we'll help get you set up.

And now about that smoothie. Half of the registration fee for our Athlete Food seminar at last week's TriMania Expo went to Race2Rebuild so thought it would be fitting to serve the participants a recovery smoothie. The recipe above is based on our Trailblazer Smoothie bowl, with the addition of Osmo recovery powder for an extra shot of protein and a scoop of chopped Gather bars on top. This bowl is a perfect post-workout snack.
